Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Gravitydrift. By accessing or using this website and game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Gravitydrift is a browser-based physics puzzle game that allows users to play generated and community-created levels, build and publish their own levels using the Level Editor, and compete in real-time multiplayer sessions. The service is provided free of charge, supported by advertising.
Gravitydrift is an independent project operated by a solo developer. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gravitydrift. If you are under 13, please do not use the service. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service and that they have read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
By using Gravitydrift, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.
Gravitydrift does not currently require account creation to play, use the Level Editor, or participate in multiplayer. The service is designed to be used anonymously.
An anonymous browser fingerprint (a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser's localStorage) is used for the sole purpose of preventing duplicate level ratings. This identifier is not tied to any personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The Level Editor allows you to create and publish game levels to the shared level library ("User-Generated Content" or "UGC"). By publishing a level, you:
You retain ownership of the level designs you create. Gravitydrift claims no ownership over your creative work beyond the licence required to operate the service (i.e., to store and serve your level to other players).
You can delete your published levels at any time from the Saved Maps page.
When using the Level Editor, you agree not to publish levels or level names that:
Gravitydrift reserves the right to remove any published level that violates these guidelines, without prior notice. For more detail on what makes a good (and a bad) published level, see the Content Guidelines page.
When using Gravitydrift, you agree not to:
Multiplayer sessions are identified by temporary four-letter room codes. These rooms are ephemeral — they exist only while players are connected and are not stored after the session ends. No chat or direct communication features exist within the multiplayer system; gameplay is entirely competitive and non-verbal.
Gravitydrift does not log multiplayer game sessions or player actions. The server acts as a relay only.
Gravitydrift displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads may use cookies and similar technologies. By using Gravitydrift and accepting the cookie consent banner, you acknowledge that third-party advertising partners may use cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies.
You can manage your advertising preferences at google.com/settings/ads.
The Gravitydrift game, including its source code, visual design, physics engine, renderer, written content, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of the developer. All rights are reserved except as explicitly granted in these Terms.
The planet and spacecraft artwork, game music (if any), and other creative assets are original works and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used outside of Gravitydrift without permission. To request permission, please use the contact page.
Gravitydrift is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee that any particular level will remain available, that the multiplayer infrastructure will be operational at any given time, or that the game will function correctly on every device and browser.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gravitydrift and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to access the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since Gravitydrift is free to use, this amount is zero.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gravitydrift and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your User-Generated Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the service, or to remove any User-Generated Content, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, particularly in cases of violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms remain in effect after any termination of your access to the service, to the extent applicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Material changes — particularly those affecting how User-Generated Content is handled — will be noted clearly at the top of this page alongside the updated date.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the developer's country of residence, except where local law requires otherwise.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us via the contact page. We will respond to legal inquiries as promptly as possible.
